About the Artist

Statement

My work is currently exploring themes of ventriloquism and public announcement. I use digital video and create staged performances that incorporate appropriated texts from infamous public speeches, displaying these as filmed documentation, and more recently as sculptures. I employ actors to re-perform the speeches and often combine them with films of performances by myself or others.
