He's Human Too You Know, DVD, 6mins 4sec, 2006

He's Human Too You Know is a film of a performance with a ventriloquist dummy. The figure takes turns with the dummy to sing lines from the Sonny and Cher hit 'I Got You Babe' (1965) although this is not heard in the film. Instead of this two male voices are heard reading a script in which the ventriloquist is constantly being put down by the dummy, whose criticisms are incessantly spiteful and unprovoked. The ventriloquist does not react, but at the point of each of the dummy's remarks a balloon expands within the bandages covering the ventriloquist's head and either explodes or escapes from the frame.
