Emit: Artist run curatorial initiative designed to develop the invention, production and exhibition of arts and artwork. It is Emit’s objective to create an expanded framework for art, working with private and public spheres, in and outside of mediated institutions. Emit is a transitive verb, renouncing the closed homogeneity of masterplans; an ‘open text' pretext concerned with scale, permanence and the trappings of time. Exhibitions under flux construction, the emergence of exhibitions within a display; uncertainties assembled with the schematics of time, storage and perspective.
